Dr. Darrin H Dotson ( O.D., P.A. )
Dr. Dotson has been practicing Optometry successfully for twenty years, the last fifteen years in his own private practice known as "Gallery EyeWear" . He graduated from Southern California College of Optometry with his Doctorate in 1990. Also from there, he received his Bachelor of Science in Visual Science in 1988. Before that, Dr. Dotson also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, both from New Mexico State University in 1986. He has been licensed by the Texas Board of Optometry since 1990 and also passed the competency-based examination by the International Association of Boards of Examiners in Optometry to treat and manage ocular disease. Dr. Dotson always takes yearly continuing education classes administered through the University of Houston - College of Optometry to stay up to date on the latest eyecare.
